Review Methodology
How AboutSofa evaluates comfort, construction, materials, delivery, maintenance and long-term ownership.
Three labels, three evidence levels
A hands-on review requires documented direct use. An editorial profile summarizes sourced public information without claiming a sit test. A first look interprets newly released specifications and is clearly provisional.
Evaluation areas
When evidence is available, we examine dimensions, sitting posture, cushion construction, frame and suspension, upholstery, delivery access, assembly, care, replaceable parts, return terms and warranty language.
Scores
The launch site does not publish numerical scores. A score will appear only after a repeatable rubric, sufficient comparable evidence and clear weighting exist. Category cards never use decorative stars.
Updates
Date-sensitive pages display a last-checked date and official sources. They should be reviewed again before a reader makes a purchase.
